THE ABERDEEN SCOTS TRUST ANNOUNCES FEBRUARY 2008 DISTRIBUTION

(Toronto, February 6, 2008) – The Aberdeen SCOTS Trust (TSX: SCO.UN), an investment trust trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange, announced today that it will make a monthly distribution of $0.02 per unit, payable on February 29, 2008, to all unitholders of record as of February 15, 2008 (ex-dividend date February 13, 2008).
