CANSTOCK INFORMATION SERVICES CORP.

independent publisher of Canada's most respected stock market newsletters

INTRODUCTION

CanStock Information Services Corp. was formed in 1994 for the purpose of providing both novice and sophisticated investors with reliable, objective and timely information regarding Canada's fastest growing publicly traded companies.

The strong credentials of CanStock's senior management and our policy of independently selecting companies for inclusion in each publication, have translated into a growing number of subscribers for all of our publications across Canada and internationally.

PUBLICATIONS

CanStock publishes the following three monthly newsletters ...

  • Buy Low, Sell High !  features undervalued, competently managed, high-growth, Canadian small-cap stocks trading under $3 per share
  • Canadian Growth Stocks Review highlights industrial, high-tech, and service companies trading above $3 per share which have demonstrated an exceptional level of financial performance
  • Canadian Oil & Gas Stocks Review reviews high-growth Canadian oil & gas producers and service companies with an emphasis on the junior and intermediate stocks
12 issues of each newsletter are published each year. Each newsletter is available by fax and first-class mail.

CanStock also publishes The Canadian OnLine Investor, a daily newsletter, which is presented on www.stockreviews.com, the website of the company. The Canadian OnLine Investor provides short-term investors and active traders with timely information on small and mid-cap Canadian stocks, as well as daily commentaries on the market, volume leaders, and companies that have reported significant news of interest.

RESEARCH FOCUS

Our monthly publications focus on competently managed, high-growth, small and medium sized Canadian public companies, often referred to as small-cap and mid-cap stocks, respectively.  These newsletters feature predominantly industrial, high-tech and service companies as well as oil & gas and mining stocks which have experienced tremendous revenue, cash flow and earnings growth, frequently in excess of 100 percent per year. Stocks are selected from all Canadian exchanges.

Our monthly newsletters as well as the daily editions of The Canadian OnLine Investor are a useful starting point for investors in identifying quality small and mid-cap Canadian stocks to assist them in the creation of a dynamic, well diversified portfolio.

FULLY INDEPENDENT

Our newsletters receive serious consideration from investors, brokers and analysts due to our policy of independently selecting companies for inclusion. Since the vast majority of investment newsletters are paid substantial promotional fees by companies for inclusion, such newsletters cannot, by definition, be considered to provide independent, unbiased advice to their subscribers.  As a matter of company policy, CanStock Information Services Corp. does not accept any fee, remuneration or benefit from any company featured in any publication to assure our subscribers that all information contained within our publications is presented in an unbiased manner.

It is also important to note that CanStock Information Services Corp. does not own any securities in the companies mentioned in its publications, unlike firms in the full service brokerage industry. Full service brokerage organizations are generally interested in producing research reports only for corporate clients who have approached them for assistance in the completion of a public financing. In return for this assistance, brokerage firms typically receive substantial compensation in the form of shares or other securities of the particular client. These "research" reports, which are in reality merely sales documents, often serve to create a dumping ground for these brokerage firms to unload their inventory of stocks upon unsophisticated and unsuspecting investors.  Fortunately, Canadian investors are becoming more sophisticated and aware of this practice and consequently, are approaching reports from brokerage firms with a healthy dose of skepticism.

Our superior research capabilities combined with our independent approach also sets us apart from the full service brokerage industry.

SUPERIOR RESEARCH CAPABILITIES

CanStock prides itself in its ability to identify emerging high-growth stocks long before the general investment community, brokers, and other analysts become aware of them. CanStock is proactive and aggressive in identifying Canada's fastest growing companies for the benefit of its subscribers. Clearly, investors have the opportunity to secure this investment information advantage by being a subscriber to one or more of CanStock's newsletters.

It should be noted that our research analysts and staff share educational backgrounds in the accounting and finance disciplines, and have extensive stock market experience. CanStock's highly qualified research personnel review over 3,000 small and medium sized Canadian companies on an ongoing basis and at any given time only approximately 5% of those companies meet our stringent criteria for possible inclusion in our publications.

MEDIA COVERAGE & CREDIBILITY

CanStock's success in discovering Canada's fastest growing companies has led to a continuing increase in media coverage surrounding our publications and analysts.  CanStock analysts appear frequently on radio and television programs across Canada and at investment conference speaking engagements. Our newsletters and analysts are periodically quoted in such high profile publications as The Globe & Mail, Investor's Digest of Canada, Canada Stockwatch, and Canadian Business. In addition, our newsletters are currently featured in brochures, investment research catalogues, and special inserts of Canada's largest discount brokerage firms including Green Line Investor Services and Bank of Montreal InvestorLine.

HELPING TODAY'S INVESTORS

During these times of significant economic uncertainty, many investors are searching for investment strength and stability. These individuals are presently looking for alternatives to the low interest term deposits and GICs offered by banks and other financial institutions. They have also become disillusioned with the performance of mutual funds in recent years.  Consequently, they are individually participating in the stock market or seriously considering such a move in order to create financial freedom for themselves.

CanStock regularly receives testimonials from happy subscribers expressing the view that they consider our research publications to be among the finest they have ever utilized. Not surprisingly, CanStock's subscription renewal rates are among the highest in the investment newsletter publishing business in North America.

Investors are encouraged to subscribe to one or more CanStock newsletters to gain immediate exclusive access to the accurate, timely information on high-growth stocks that we provide our subscribers. A substantial discount off the regular subscription price to each of our publications is available to new subscribers. With our quality company articles and reputation, its easy to see why a subscription to one or more CanStock publications is not only beneficial but essential
